Tepco hid record-level radiation data last July Tepco, operator of Fukushima nuclear stations, released the data on Feb. 6 showing that the groundwater last July contained a record 5 million becquerels per liter of radioactive strontium-90, revealing that TEPCO has been withholding information about radiation levels. It is possible that this deception was intended to make it easier for Tokyo to win the 2020 Olympic bid. More here.
